Admission Requirements
- Official transcripts for all academic work completed in high school must be submitted by school counselor or another school official
- All applicants must complete either the ACT or SAT
- We require three letters of recommendation: one from school counselor and two from teachers of major academic courses
- A one-page personal essay and short essay questions specific to Duke are necessary
- Non-native English speakers and those not studying in an English-medium curriculum are recommended to take an English proficiency test (DUOLINGO, IELTS, PTE, TOEFL)
- Nonrefundable $85 application fee is required
- To obtain an F-1 visa for study in the United States, proof of ability to meet educational expenses and the I-20 form must be submitted to the U.S. consulate in home country
