Admission Requirements
- A one-page personal essay and short essay questions specific to Duke are required.
- Three letters of recommendation are required: one from your school counselor and two from teachers in major academic subjects.
- Official transcripts for all high school academic work must be submitted through your school counselor or another school official.
- Non-native English speakers or those currently not studying in an English-medium curriculum are recommended to take an English proficiency test (DUOLINGO, IELTS, PTE, TOEFL).
- All applicants must complete either the ACT or SAT.
- A nonrefundable $85 application fee is required.
- For international students, proof of ability to cover educational expenses and the I-20 form are necessary for obtaining an F-1 visa for study in the United States.
