Admission Requirements
- Submit official transcripts from high school through school counselor or official
- Complete either ACT or SAT
- English proficiency test highly recommended for non-native speakers or those not in an English-medium curriculum (DUOLINGO, IELTS, PTE, TOEFL)
- Write a one-page personal essay and short essays specific to Duke
- Obtain three letters of recommendation: one from school counselor and two from major academic teachers (English, mathematics, social studies, sciences, foreign languages)
- Pay nonrefundable $85 application fee
- Provide proof of ability to cover educational expenses and fill out I-20 form for F-1 visa application if needed for international students.
