- Complete the Amherst College Writing Supplement.
- Pay the $65 non-refundable application fee or request a fee waiver through the chosen application (Common, Coalition, or Quick Pass).
- Submit a School Report.
- Provide a Secondary School Transcript.
- Secure a Counselor Recommendation from your College or Guidance Counselor.
- Obtain two Teacher Recommendations from English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or Foreign Language instructors.
- Optional: Submit self-reported or official scores for the SAT or ACT.
- If applying Early Decision, include the Early Decision Agreement and first marking period grades from senior year.
- As soon as first trimester/semester grades are available, submit the Mid-Year School Report Form and Mid-Year Transcript.
