- Complete and submit either the Common Application, Coalition Application, or QuestBridge Application
- Write and submit the Amherst College Writing Supplement
- Pay a non-refundable $65 application fee or request a fee waiver through the Common Application, Coalition Application, or Amherst's Quick Pass
- Provide a School Report from your secondary school
- Submit your secondary school transcript
- Request a Counselor Recommendation from your college counselor or guidance counselor
- Obtain two Teacher Recommendations from teachers in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or Foreign Language
- Optional: Include self-reported or official SAT or ACT scores
- For Early Decision (ED) applicants: sign and submit the Early Decision Agreement
- For ED applicants: include first marking period grades from senior year
- As soon as first trimester/first semester grades are available, submit the Mid-Year School Report Form and Mid-Year Transcript.
