- Completion of LEAP level 4 TOEFL Waiver Track with satisfactory grades
- Graduation from a school in a country with English as the official language for higher education exempts English proficiency demonstration
- Non-native English speakers with no U.S. accredited senior high school diploma must demonstrate English proficiency
- English proficiency can be proven through meeting required scores on recommended proficiency tests, such as the SAT, by TESOL faculty and approved by the IEAC
