Admission Requirements
- Minimum of 2.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale for general admission is required.
- English Proficiency is necessary or conditional admission can be requested along with admission to Intensive English Program (IEP).
- Some Engineering majors are restricted from entry due to capacity constraints.
- SAT or ACT scores are mandatory for direct admission to certain colleges and majors and must be sent directly to WVU from respective testing services.
- Review program requirements for further details.
- International students are encouraged to submit SAT/ACT scores for all other majors, though it is not mandatory. These scores can be used to assess scholarship eligibility.
- WVU also accepts applications from students with IGCSE and O-Level Certificates from Cambridge International for admissions consideration.
