- Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00
- Minimum course requirements:
- Completion of two semesters of undergraduate biology
- Completion of general chemistry
- Completion of organic chemistry
- Completion of calculus
- One course in genetics
- One course in microbiology with a laboratory
- One course in cell biology
- GRE/GMAT scores are NOT required for admission
- Graduate student status will start one week prior to the fall classes
- Full-time status, including summers, is expected until completion of the Master's degree
- Completion of the Master's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics is required for graduation
