Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in geology from an accredited college or university
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required
- Applicants must satisfy the School of Graduate Studies' English Language Proficiency requirements as published in the graduate catalog
- Submission of GRE scores is encouraged
- Completion of 5 to 6 credit hours of geology field course is necessary to advance to "approved" status
- To earn a Master of Arts degree, two or more semesters of calculus must be completed while an undergraduate or graduate student
- Provisional or qualified admission is possible, but must advance to approved status after completion of geology field course.
