Admission Requirements
- 1. Non-refundable $80 application fee must be paid, payable to UNCW in the form of a check or money order in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. 2. Essay and short answer responses are required for admission consideration. 3. A certified translation of an official transcript, showing grades from secondary school, must be submitted in English. 4. Applicants who are not native English speakers must provide a TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or Pearson test of English score. 5. Minimum score requirements for TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or Pearson test of English may be waived if English is the applicant's native language. 6. A minimum SAT-I critical reading score of 450 or an ACT minimum score of 20 on the reading section is required. 7. Applicants who do not meet the minimum score requirements may be required to successfully complete Level 4 of UNCW's ESL program.
