- Undergraduate degree: B.S. or B.A.
- Most students major in the biological sciences, but not required
- Transcripts documenting science courses, biochemistry, human genetics, and stats
- Must have taken at least one upper level human genetics course
- At least one general statistics course is required
- Advocacy experience recommended to demonstrate comfort with counseling
