- A level: BBB, including A level Mathematics or Physics at B (not Use of Mathematics)
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (formerly BTEC National Diploma):\xa0The University will consider applicants holding/studying BTEC Extended National Diploma Qualifications (QCF; NQF;OCR) in a relevant Science or Engineering subject at 180 credits or more, on a case by case basis.
- International Baccalaureate: 30 points overall or 14 points at Higher Level including HL Physics at 5 or SL Physics at 6 and either HL Maths/Maths Methods/Maths: Analysis and Approaches at 5 or SL Maths/Maths Methods at 6 (Note Maths Studies/SL Maths: Applications & Interpretations is not acceptable)
