- Official transcripts are required from all schools attended, both undergraduate and graduate.
- An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above is required for full admission.
- For provisional admission, a GPA between 2.7 and 3.0 is required.
- Personal/Professional Statement.
- Three references are required for admission.
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
- B.S. in chemistry, geology, or any science or engineering is required.
- Undergraduate background in inorganic, analytical, organic, and physical chemistry, physical and historical geology, petrology, and mineralogy is required.
- Some of these undergraduate background courses can be taken during the first year of graduate school at Montana Tech depending upon prior undergraduate specialization.
- Students from non-US or non-UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand universities must provide evidence of English proficiency.
