Admission Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 24 undergraduate hours (or equivalent) in biology
- GPA of at least 2.75 (on a 4.00 scale) for the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate work and a 3.00 average in biology
- A statement of interest and three letters of reference are required for admission to the degree program
- Achieve a GPA of at least 3.00 to be considered for a graduate assistantship
- Submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), General Test
- Meet prerequisites if judged to have inadequate preparation for formal graduate study (may include courses in chemistry, physics, or mathematics)
- Note: prerequisite courses will not be counted towards degree requirements.
