Admission Requirements
- Eligibility for Admission: Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related science fields
- Undergraduate Preparation: Courses in general, organic, analytical, and physical chemistry; physics; general biology; basic biochemistry; and calculus
- Minor deficiencies may be rectified by taking appropriate undergraduate courses simultaneously with graduate courses
- Completion of at least 4 credits of BMB 899 Master's Thesis Research, with a maximum of 15 credits
- Full participation in an oral exam covering thesis defense and coursework
- Fulfillment of two additional 800-level courses approved by the guidance committee
