- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 for final 60 credit hours completed
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with Teacher Endorsement
- Fulfillment of House Bill 150 (Survey of Exceptional Children and Adolescents or Exceptional Learners in Inclusive Communities)
