Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college/university is required prior to beginning graduate studies at Iowa State.
- International degrees must be comparable to a US bachelor's degree or higher, and must be from a college/university that is regionally accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education in that country.
- 3-year degrees from India, Bangladesh, Canada (excluding Quebec), Nepal, and Pakistan are not accepted for admission.
- Degrees from other countries with a duration of 3 years will be reviewed on an individual basis.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (equivalent to a B grade) is required for admission.
- English proficiency requirements set by the Graduate College and the specific program must both be met before enrollment.
