- Freshman admission directly to major standing in the School of Engineering reserved for:
- ACT composite score of 29 or higher
- ACT mathematics score of 32 or higher
- High school GPA of 3.6 or higher
- Completion of EGR 289 for cooperative engineering education placement
- GPA of 2.7 or above in engineering foundations course sequence
- Each course in engineering foundations course sequence must be completed with:
- A grade of C (2.0) or above
- No more than one repeat per foundation course presented
