- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale and a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required for admission
- Must have earned at least a B in introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics, or at least a B in intermediate microeconomics and macroeconomics
- AP courses do not count as prerequisites
- Must have earned at least a B
- in a college-level calculus course
- Applicants who do not meet calculus requirement may fulfill it by taking a course before starting program
- Two letters of recommendation and a 500-1000 word essay explaining motivation for applying are required for admission
