Admission Requirements
- Complete and submit the online application for admission to Mason's Atmospheric Sciences program.
- Pay the application fee through the Common Application or George Mason University's Undergraduate Application.
- Provide certified, official transcripts from all secondary schools attended.
- Include official results from any leaving certificates or university entrance exams taken.
- Submit all documents in English or include a certified English translation for non-English documents.
- Include scores from either the SAT or ACT standardized tests.
- International students have the option to submit SAT or ACT scores or apply Score Optional.
- Submit a Secondary School Report (PDF) and counselor recommendations.
- Submit two (2) letters of recommendation, one from a high school counselor and one from a teacher.
- Write an optional, but strongly encouraged Personal Statement or Essay (approximately 250 words) explaining why you want to attend university and study Atmospheric Sciences.
- Include a resume if there are any gaps in enrollment.
