- Submit official transcripts from high school
- Provide three letters of recommendation (one from school counselor, two from teachers)
- Write a one-page personal essay and answer short essay questions specific to Duke

- If a non-native English speaker or not studying in an English-medium curriculum, take an English proficiency test
- Obtain an F-1 visa from home country's U.S. consulate and submit proof of ability to meet educational expenses and I-20 form
