Admission Requirements
- Complete and submit a Department of Physics and Astronomy Graduate Program Application (separate from the University application)
- Bachelor's degree in Physics and GPA of at least 3.0 in upper division physics lecture classes results in admission as a classified graduate student.
- Undergraduate GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 may result in admission as a conditionally classified graduate student.
- Submission of GRE scores may result in admission as a classified graduate student.
- If bachelor's degree is in a related field, GPA requirements are the same as above and all necessary undergraduate courses must be completed prior to admission.
- Two letters of recommendation are required.
