Admission Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Earth or Environmental Sciences, related areas of Natural Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- A minimum 2.75 grade point average in the last 60 semester units and upper division course work substantially equivalent to that required of Cal State L.A. geology majors.
- Completion of necessary courses as deemed appropriate by individual faculty members.
- Admission to the program is not guaranteed and will be based on the discretion of each faculty member.
- Applicants lacking appropriate courses may be admitted with the expectation to complete necessary coursework.
- The GRE may be required by individual faculty as part of the admission process.
