Admission Requirements
- Complete all required high school preparatory courses with a grade of C or higher prior to graduation.
- Graduate from high school by the end of the Spring term before Fall enrollment.
- Submit all transcripts from previous institutions.
- Submit SAT/ACT scores.
- For non-STEM majors: have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in preparatory courses and a minimum "CSULB Index" of 3,200 to be considered.
- For STEM majors: have a minimum "STEM Index" of 3,600 (higher than the CSU system-wide eligibility minimum).
- For non-STEM majors: have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in preparatory courses and a minimum "CSULB Index" of 3,500 to be considered.
