- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 in the last 60 units of attempted coursework
- Good standing at the last attended college
- Completion of courses in ecology, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, and/or quantitative methods is helpful but not required
- Two (2) letters of recommendation, with at least one from an academic instructor or advisor
