Admission Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a closely related discipline
- Degree must be from an accredited institution
- Minimum grade-point average of 3.0 in Earth science courses
- Minimum grade-point-average of 2.5 in related science and mathematics courses
- Two letters of recommendation must be submitted
- One-page personal statement of interest required, including research and career aspirations
- A minimum of 24 semester units or 36 quarter units of undergraduate Earth Science coursework must be completed to receive unconditional acceptance into the Master's program
- Availability of faculty and resources in student's area of interest will be taken into consideration
