Admission Requirements
- Must hold a Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program (ACEN, CNEA or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education)
- Must have a valid and unencumbered nursing license as a registered professional nurse in New York State
- Must have at least one year of working experience as a Registered Nurse
- Submission of a one-page essay outlining career goals, intellectual and academic interests, and accomplishments related to the Master of Science degree in Nursing
- Must complete a graduate level statistics course with a grade of B (3.0) or better prior to matriculation or complete NUR 600 with a grade of B (3.0) or better in the first semester
- Two references must be provided with their names and addresses who can attest to the applicant's scholastic and/or professional performance
- An interview with a member of the graduate curriculum committee is required.
