Admission Requirements
- A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required by AAMU for acceptance into the program.
- Official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Testing System (IELTS) must be submitted.
- For TOEFL, a score of 500 or above (paper-based), 178 or above (computer-based), or 61 or above (internet-based) is required.
- For IELTS, a score of 5.5 or above is required unless English is the applicant's native language.
- If the applicant has completed one year of college coursework in an English-speaking country, the TOEFL or IELTS requirement may be waived.
- A letter of recommendation from a principal, counselor, or college advisor is required.
- Test scores are only required for scholarship eligibility, AAMU currently waives test requirements for acceptance into the program.
