Merit-BasedLevel of study: Bachelor's or Master's degree, Descent: South Asian heritage (countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives), Academic excellence: Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 75% marks in their previous academic qualifications, Membership requirements: Must be a member of a South Asian Community Association in the UK or of the South Asian Society at Sheffield Hallam University, Must have received an unconditional offer to study at Sheffield Hallam University, Must be self-funding their studies (not receiving any other scholarships or financial aid), Applicants must be willing to participate in promotional activities for the scholarship and the university, Must maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout
